Saturday's forecast is looking to put the "Polar" in Polar Plunge this year! For anyone who has concerns about the weather forecast, we want you to know that anyone is welcome, at any time, to choose to plunge at any one of our many community Plunges or D.I.Y. between now and early April. If you would like to transfer your Plunge Registration to another event, we'd be happy to help you out with that. If you'd prefer to plunge D.I.Y., feel free! Plunge on your own terms - when, where, and how you want. It can be this Saturday or any time that works for you, and we're happy to share with you some of the great ways we have seen your fellow Plungers do it D.I.Y. over the last few years. We have always encouraged Plungers to decide for themselves what "taking the Plunge" means. To us, it has never meant full submersion into water. If you want to run in to your knees and turn around, or if you want to spray yourself with a little cold water, or if you want to come out and be a Towel Holder instead, that's fine by us! You can be sure that however you choose to plunge with us on Saturday, we'll have heated spaces for you to change and warm up in afterwards.
Plunger Registration/Check-in: 11:00 AM - 11:45AM in the Bathhouse. If you've raised $100 or more, we'll have a Polar Plunge shirt for you. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian with them to sign a waiver.
Costume Parade: 11:45AM
Safety Briefing: 11:55AM
Plunge: 12:00 PM. There are heated locker rooms and restrooms inside the Bathhouse for changing.
Post-Plunge Awards: 12:15PM in the Main Tent, which is heated and located right next to the Bathhouse.

Set at the Mary Jeannette Murray Bath House at Nantasket Beach, plungers will charge into the ocean waters to support Special Olympics. After the plunge, join us for some music and fundraising and costume awards! Grab your thrill-seeking, inclusion-celebrating friends and family, create a plunge team, and start fundraising! Those who fundraise $100 or more will receive a limited edition Polar Plunge long-sleeve shirt.
The Polar Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising $100 or more, you are empowering over 14,000 Special Olympics athletes in Massachusetts to train and compete in the sports they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
