Event Schedule for Plunge Day (updated 3/4/23)

Registration/Check-in begins at 9:00AM - 10:45AM. This will take place in the Sharon High School Cafeteria. Please enter the High School through the front entrance and follow the signs to the Cafeteria. You'll check-in to let us know you're here, and hand in any donations you've collected. If you've raised $100 or more, we'll have a Polar Plunge shirt for you. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian with them to sign a waiver.

Safety Briefing at 10:45AM - 10:55AM. This will also take place in the Cafeteria. We'll have a very brief Welcome Program and go over a safety briefing before heading off to Plunge.

Plunge at the Lake at 11:00AM. You'll have your choice of how you plunge (in the lake, splashed by a bucket of water, or staying dry).

Plunge Awards: We'll head back to the cafeteria for an award ceremony for Top Fundraiser, Top Fundraising Team, Best Costume and More!

Celebrating Inclusion:

The Polar Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising $100 or more, you are empowering over 14,000 Special Olympics athletes in Massachusetts to train and compete in the sports they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
