Well, it looks like we won't be braving the winter weather on Saturday after all. Over the last 48 hours, the forecast has worsened quite a bit, with the winter storm continuing on through Saturday night, so in conjunction with Exhibit A Brewing and the recommendations of our public safety partners in Framingham, we'll be postponing the Polar Plunge.
The good news is, you won't have to wait long to plunge at Exhibit A! We're postponing to Sunday, March 19th. Same timeframe. Same location. Same reason for freezin'!
If Sunday, March 19th doesn't work for you, let us know and we'll help you transfer your registration to another event, or if you'd prefer to plunge D.I.Y., feel free! If you need some D.I.Y. ideas, we'll share a few of our favorites from the last few years.
Thanks for your understanding, and of course, for your commitment to Special Olympics Massachusetts. We're so excited to Plunge with you on Sunday, March 19th!
Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
The Polar Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising $100 or more, you are empowering over 14,000 Special Olympics athletes in Massachusetts to train and compete in the sports they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
