2024 Nantasket Polar Plunge!

Location: Nantasket Beach (Hull) at the MJM Bathhouse. Use address 225 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA for directions.

Parking: Plenty of parking available on the street and in the adjacent parking lots.

Registration: 10:00AM | Plunge: 12:00PM

• Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian with them to sign a waiver. Download the form ahead of time here.

**We are expecting some challenges with the tides this year, so we are shuffling around the order of the event program to give us a better plunging experience with the tides. The overall event timeframe is not changing. Here is the timeline you can expect on Saturday:**

Registration/Check-in: 10:00AM – 11:45AM

• Inside the Bathhouse
• We will be selling Plunge merchandise throughout registration and until just after Plunge. We will be accepting cash, card payments or Venmo.
• If you raise $100 on the day-of or by the event, you will receive the 2024 Polar Plunge long sleeve T-shirt! Bring any additional donations with you on Saturday and make sure your name/ team name is labeled.

Food for Plungers & for Purchase

• We’ll have food in the main tent for Plungers starting at 11:00am

Costume Parade/Contest 12:00PM – 12:15PM

• Teams can check-in for the Costume Parade Staging at 11:50am outside between the Bathhouse and the main tent.
• Costume Parade 12:00pm – 12:15pm
• There will be a 10-minute break after the Costume Parade for Plungers to change into their plunge attire.

Plunge Program: 12:30PM – 12:45PM

• Enjoy our Plunge Program outside the main tent at the brand-new Mobile Stage!
• We’ll hear from a Special Olympics Inclusion Ambassador, give out our Fundraising & Costume Awards, and go over our Safety Briefing for the Plunge.

Head Down to the Beach for the Plunge: 12:45PM

• We’ll Plunge at 1:00pm. After that, Plungers can get changed in the Locker Rooms, head out and enjoy the rest of their weekend plans!

 

Event Overview: 

Get your most creative costumes ready, the Nantasket Polar Plunge here! Set at the Mary Jeannette Murray Bath House at Nantasket Beach, plungers will charge into the ocean waters to support Special Olympics. After the plunge, join us for some music and fundraising and costume awards! Grab your thrill-seeking, inclusion-celebrating friends and family, create a plunge team, and start fundraising! Those who fundraise $100 or more will receive a limited edition Polar Plunge long-sleeve shirt.
