Event Update 1/31/24

Due to immovable ice on the lake, we are going to be setting up our very own Bear Force One, mobile plunge unit, in the parking lot and plunging into a pool instead of the lake. The preparation for a pool plunge is the exact same as a lake plunge – bring a towel and a change of clothes, wear a pair of old sneakers or shoes while you plunge, and spend the night before getting excited to Be Bold and Get Cold for Special Olympics!

Event Overview:

Location: Nara Park (25 Ledge Rock Way, Acton)

Parking: Plenty of spots available in the parking lot next to the Bath House and beachfront.

Registration/Check in: 11:00AM | Plunge 12:00PM

Contact [email protected] with any questions.

The Acton Police Department is partnering with The Law Enforcement Torch Run for their second annual Polar Plunge! Set at Nara Park, plungers will all run into the lake to support Special Olympics! Join us after the Plunge for awards! Awards will be given out to the Top Fundraising Team, Top Fundraising individual and more. Grab your brrravest, inclusion-celebrating friends and family, create a plunge team, and start fundraising!

Celebrating Inclusion:

The Polar Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising $100 or more, you are empowering over 14,000 Special Olympics athletes in Massachusetts to train and compete in the sports they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
